Procedure - Design
 Because every individual has different hair characteristics, needs and goals we believe that no two procedures should be identical. We therefore customize every procedure to the unique needs of the individual. As with most cosmetic procedures the result of a hair transplant needs to be natural and totally undetectable.
Prof. Dr. Dr. Voy brings his vast experience as a cosmetic and maxillofacial surgeon that has gained him respect not only for his technical expertise but also for his fine artistic judgment. Having a cosmetic surgeon performing your hair transplant procedure has obvious advantages. His expertise and training are directed specifically at making you look your best.
When transplanting hair different areas of the scalp require special considerations. The Frontal Hairline is of great importance because it frames the face and it is the feature that is most visible. In reality it is not a straight line at all, but rather an irregular track of peaks and valleys, with varying gradients of density. Replicating these patterns requires 1-hair FU grafts for the most anterior part to produce a soft margin with 2-hair FU grafts immediately behind to create a transition zone. Larger FU grafts are placed behind to create interior density. Moreover the height and contour are carefully designed to conform and enhance your natural features.
The "crown" or "vertex" area also requires special attention in recreating the natural "whorl" pattern. As with all other areas of the scalp where hair is transplanted grafts are placed following specific angulations, directions and patterns that closely replicate natural hair growth.
